The Culture of Barangay Malabanan
By: Dyan Cator CULTURE Malabanan is one of the barangay’s in Balete, Batangas. The people there have a simple way of living. They have their annual traditions like "fiesta" which is being celebrated in honor of Saint Fatima. Every year they are preparing foods for the visitors as a way of welcoming them and as a sign of thanks giving to Saint Fatima. Another tradition, is the "Regatta". It is the parade of Saint Fatima which is being toured around the Balete Lake. The Malabanan, Balete has also known for it’s pilgrame site " Marian Orchard". It is a sprawling Catholic theme park in the municipality of Balete, right before the pilgrame of City of Lipa.
